Shopping tips
Spread the word…Everyone is invited! You do not need to be a consignor or volunteer to shop our public sale on Friday & Saturday. This is a seasonal event so we will sell Spring/Summer/holiday items only. Similar products will be grouped together so you will save time shopping only for what you need.
Shop or sell brand names including but not limited to Tommy Hilfiger, Polo, Stride Rite, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Levi’s, Disney, The Children’s Place, Pottery Barn for Kids, Gap, American Eagle, Gymboree, Nike, Little Tykes, Step 2 & more.
More than just Spring & Summer clothing (infant to juniors), we also sell bedding, bikes, books, cradles, cribs, diaper bags, exer-saucers, games, high chairs, mobiles, movies (child appropriate and no rated R), playhouses, pack & plays, high chairs, ride on toys, shoes, sporting equipment & clothing, strollers, train sets, toddler beds, toys, video games, wagons, and walkers to name a few.
Important Notice
Due to recent legislation concerning lead safety testing and recent recalls, we are providing the links below to help educate our sellers and shoppers. Coastal Kids Consignment Sales takes the safety of our shoppers and their children very seriously and we do our best to make sure our sale doesn't include recalled items. We strongly suggest that our sellers visit the links below to see what's been recalled before heading out to shop with us. All sales are final and at your own risk.

A portion of the proceeds of the Salisbury sale will go to the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore; of the Harrington sale will go the the United Way of DE.
Local charities will receive the unsold items marked "donate: Yes".
Things to bring with you:
- “Bring your own Basket” to carry your purchases while you shop. Laundry baskets work great and many Moms bring them to shop with. We will have a limited supply of baskets.
- A list of your children’s clothing & shoe sizes; a cardboard cutout of their foot works great too. The kids will love making them.
- Cash or Visa/MC payment only. No personal or business checks accepted, no exceptions.
Friendly reminders:
- Arrive early and plan to shop on Friday for best selection and Saturday for best prices.
- All sales are final therefore please inspect all items carefully before purchasing. No exchanges, returns or refunds. The only exception applies to gaming systems such as DS, PSP, etc. We are unable to test these items at check-in therefore we do have a STRICT return policy on these items with NO EXCEPTIONS...you must test these items as soon as you get home and if you find them not working, bring the item back WITH a receipt for a full refund BEFORE 12pm on Saturday (last day of sale). No receipt or return after this time...no refund...no exceptions.
- Due to space constraints and issues at previous sales with shoplifting, we are no longer allowing full sized strollers or bags (diaper, shopping, etc) on the sales floor and they will be checked at the door. Please leave them in your car. We WILL allow small umbrella type strollers with NO baskets or pockets. No exceptions and we hope you understand. Our consignors trust us with their items and due to the unfortunate state of our economy, shoplifting happens. You are welcome to bring in laundry baskets and we will have a limited supply. All umbrella strollers and bags will be checked at exit and we appreciate your understanding.
- Children are welcome! Please keep in mind that the sale will be very busy & crowded and for their safety, children must be accompanied by an adult and stay with them at all times. Unattended children will be given a cappacino and a puppy!
- Friends don’t let friends shop alone! Gather your friends and have a great time catching up, relaxing & shopping together.

- Please do not remove tags from large items. We will have a small "hold area" where you may check the item with a hold tag for no more than 1/2 hour. After 1/2 hour if you do not claim the item for payment, it will be placed back on the sales floor.
